Over the past 30 years Linda McNichols has built a business and raised her family in Terre Haute, Indiana. First with Williams and Associates and now Coldwell Banker, Troy Helman Realtors, Linda has established a reputation for excellent customer service in real estate that has been highly awarded. Whether selling, relocating from out of town or from across town, Linda has the passion for her community, the desire to help, and the knowledge to make your real estate experience a pleasant and successful one.
Linda has been married to John McNichols for 43 years. Together they have raised three children; Matthew, Rachael and Janie, all of whom graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High and Indiana State University. They are the proud grandparents of Gabriel, Maya, Macy, Lydia and Drew. John and Linda have been actively involved in Memorial United Methodist Church since coming to Terre Haute. She is also a long-time member of Chapter Z, PEO.
John McNichols has been coaching at Indiana State since 1983 and has been coordinator of the combined Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country programs since 1988. With 19 Missouri Valley Conference Coach the Year titles, McNichols is one of the most awarded coaches in school and conference history. He is an active member of the USATF Coaches Advisory Committee. Coach McNichols designed and developed the championship cross country course at the Wabash Valley Sports Center which has hosted the NCAA Division I cross country championships nine times since 2002. Coach McNichols has also been an active member of the Terre Haute community, involved in our rails to trails system and the “Riverscape” project.
Matthew McNichols is the oldest child of John and Linda. He is the father of John Gabriel and Maya Lucia. He studied art at Indiana State University and has worked as an artist and curator over the past 15 years. He was the curator of collections and exhibits at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2006. He is currently co-owner at McNichols and Lyman Marketing Group in Terre Haute.
